Floor cloths and Patio Banners
My Floor cloths and Patio Banners are hand painted on heavy primed canvas. I apply a minimum of two coats of acrylic and/or latex paint for durability. Hems are glued rather than stitched to ensure a flat, finished edge. Each item is given a final application of four coats of a clear, exterior acrylic varnish to protect the surface and keep the colours from fading. 

Patio Banners provide a wonderful accent of colour when hung on a fence or gazebo. Hang one from a trellis next to a pond for that “wow” factor in your garden! Patio Art for your outdoor rooms! My banners will withstand the sun, rain and wind all spring, summer and fall. I do recommend you bring them in during the winter. I can custom your banner to accommodate the size you need. Banners are hemmed to allow insertion of a rod or dowel to facilitate hanging.

Floor cloths are a bright, unusual note to add to your room. Art on the floor! My designs are taken from many sources, including elements appearing in oriental carpets. Finished sizes can be adapted to the location where they will be used – in a room entrance, at the bottom of a stairway, as an accent to a piece of furniture. Prices start at CDN $180.

These were often used in country homes or cottages because they were easier to clean than fabric mats or carpets. Simply give them a damp mop! If placed in a traffic area, I recommend that you place a non-skid mat underneath, or that you secure the floorcloth with double-sided carpet tape.  

Name Banners, Placemats and Coasters

Name Banners for your children are a great way to personalize a room! Custom lettering painted on heavy canvas and finished with four coats of acrylic varnish.
